About the archive

A working record of ideas shaped inside Nepal’s electricity sector.

Prabal Adhikari is an electrical engineer and former Deputy Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority. Across a career of around three decades, his work has touched hydropower planning and generation, transmission, distribution, power markets and regional electricity trade.

This archive gathers his published analysis alongside interviews, talks and records from public service. Poetry is kept as a separate part of the collection, available to readers who want to explore it without mixing it into the professional archive.

About the research and sources

This is an expanding research edition, not a claim that every published work has been recovered. English and Nepali name variants were searched, using NEA, hydropower and power-trade context to distinguish Prabal Adhikari from namesakes.

  • Authored work is separated from interviews, event records, institutional mentions and reporting by others.
  • Publisher dates are retained where possible. Records without a confirmed date remain in the catalogue but sort last.
  • Descriptions and subject labels are editorial additions; original publications remain with their publishers.
